So your going with the 39's? What made you change your mind?
After going over things online at the HQtech forum with Doug (Headquarters), he said the 0039's would be the right cam for my build. So I'm going to go with his recommendation and get the 0039's.

Doug is a very good guy to talk to. I don't remember did you do your heads the first time around ? I was thinking you didn't do the high lift springs, but you had Big Boyz do everything else. What compression are you going to go with?
Don't for get about the bearing boss clearance.
Yours might be fine, for some reason mine wasn't, Thanks to Phil I had a heads up on what to expect. Good luck

I talked to Doug today on the phone, and went over everything about my build. He got all technical with me about all the specs of cams and how they work. In the end, he said either cam would work fine with my build..........and he thought I might actually get better results with the 0034G. Also, the 0034G would not put un-needed stress on the valve springs (which I don't want to change). I want to stay at 9.6-1 compression, and I don't want to do a total teardown of the motor again with riding season right around the corner.
So, I'm going to get the 0034G's and see how I make out with them. If they are not what I want, they go up for sale and I'll either get the 0039's later on or just stay with the 26's.
