Afraid I don't have the written proof you are looking for but it's true the Harley electrics are powered by the battery while the bike is running ,the alternator is providing a recharge power via the rectifier/regulator (converts AC voltage to DC voltage) to keep the battery charged. If you run too many electrics above the designed AH rating of the battery you will kill the battery. Fix the terminal.
Tested my VR BY disconnecting the three prong plug from VR to stater.
Tested the 3 prongs and I got some 11 + volts at each prong at the voltage regulator.
so that means voltage regulator diodes faulty and getting feed back Correct ??
So time for a new voltage regulator then??
Any help as most appreciated.
