I ride a 04 roadking classic and used my security system for the first time is a while last week. Ever since then, when I ride the security light (little red key) comes on after I start the bike and stays on while I'm riding. I've tried turning it off and on a number of times. Anybody have a idea what's going on with it?
Damn John, you have been here since Oct 09 and you only have 5 posts? You must of got REALLY lost on the first few rides, lmao... Check and see if your bike has codes stored.
I am attaching a link that explains how to do this and it explains the codes. I am sure I am prolly wrong but it dont hurt for you to have this info. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...lear-them.html
I found this on the forums also. It says the red key staying on is related to the turn signals and will stay on when there is a short in the wiring.
