Road rash who did you have tune your bike here in the Bay Area? I had one motor tuned in Morgan hill and one tuned in Hayward.

I'll take a stab. I will not comment on the pros and cons of each, which is better etc. EFI is the Electronic Fuel Injection module on the bike, made by Delphi. The purpose of tuners is to get your bike running as efficient as possible to suit your riding characteristics/desires. I will probably miss a few as I am no expert. All except the Xied's, require a Windows (some may accept Mac's) based computer to download maps.

Just basic definitions:

Xied's. - Xtreme In-line Enrichment Device. Not a 'tuner', but alters the O2 signal to the EFI to richen up the air/fuel mix.

TTS - TTS Mastertune. It's a programmable tuner and interfaces with the Delphi EFI module. You can change settings to tailor your wants and needs.

PCV. - PowerCommander 5. Dynojet's version of the tuner. Again you can tailor A/F ratios to meet your needs or use 'canned' maps. Has autotune capability (if purchased).

Power Vision - Dynojet's newest tuner. Easier interface, more features, but basically executes the same as the Power Commander.

SEPT/SESPT. - Screamin Eagle Race Tuner. HD's version of the tuner. Interfaces with the EFI module. Can tailor A/F ratios, etc.

T-Max. - Thundermax. Replaces the EFI module and can be tailored or use canned maps. Has Autotune feature.

I have the powervision with the dual tune license. Can tune 2 of my scooters with the same tuner.

My tuner is going to be a PCV, it's ordered but not yet on my ride.

The one thing I wish the makers of these tuners would do is move into the 21st century and design their interface so it can be used with tablet or smart phone based devices, using Android, Ios, or Mobile Windows. It's alot easier to take a tablet or smart phone out to your bike then it is a laptop.

Don't think they ever got it working for 2010 and up bikes however.......Doesn't show one on the website that I saw either......but it works great if you can use it. No dyno or tuning to mess with at all.
