I have used S100 for 25 years. Very good product if you follow the directions. Avoid direct sunlight, rinse thoroughly, and blow off and remaining water with air hose follow up with nice soft towel. I worked a few years at the local Harley dealer and every bike that was serviced received a free wash and detail. S100 products were all I ever used with great results. Strong cleaner cuts down on the amount of time it takes to wash a bike. I always have used it on the paint, but always follow through with a good wax.

Since I posted my original report on S100, I bought a can of the spray can (foaming) version, and gave it a try.

I have to say, compared to the liquid squirt bottle, the foaming version is no comparison (what I really want to say is "it sucks!"). The engine, which is pretty clean anyway, looks good, but the rest is going to need another wash, as if I had not washed it at all.

My take ... don't waste your time on the foam, and use the spray bottle. It was very good.

I have used it for many years but once the jug is empty, no more. First it was pledge changing the formula and now I think S100 did too. It used to be an apply and rinse, not anymore. The heavier dirt yes but road grime is not being removed. IMO

This is S100 spilled on a nice cement floor. Now I know what cause the spots on my 07's silver engine.

You noticed the liquid change, eh?

I hope that's not a permanent thing ... I just discovered the stuff!

I wash out of the direct sunlight, that might help with not having spots, and I use my Stihl BG55 leaf blower to blow off as much water as possible and follow with the towel.
Ditto.....I think it works great the key is spray on in sections dont leave sit for more than 60 sec and a lot of rinse.

Here's a trick I learned last year: Take a dryer sheet and dip it into your wash water bucket. Rub the bugs off of your bike/car/truck or whatever and then hose it off. It takes the bugs off pretty easily. Then wash as normal.

I have a bottle of that somewhere. I have used it only on the engine area. After reading your post I think I will try it on my wheels.

I use the spray for in between washes and just wash with soap and water.I think it works great but I've heard that Lemon Pledge will do the same thing for a bunch less money. Also if you spray it on a towel and just wipe down the bike you wont have to worry about it drying on the bike before you can get it wiped off.

Excellent stuff. Like most cleaners, bike should be in shade and cool. That is the most important part. I wash mine right after dawn when it's nice and cool and sun is not a factor. Been using it for many years with no issues. Used it on my denim Vrod and my denim SG. Finish up with my leaf blower and some Windex and a microfiber cloth for any spotting.
