Ultra Vs SG
My wife wouldn’t normally let me own two bikes, she doesn’t really like one, but it was a pretty good deal and she said the back seat look kind of comfortable.
The Ultra is an 09 like the SG and pretty much stock except for the Python slip-ons. I rode it 200 miles and it gets about 33 mpg which is about 10 mpg less than the SG. You think it’s the Pythons without a Stage 1?
Other than that, she seems to ride good, but that extra weight is taking some getting use to. I can do full lock figure eights in the parking lot with the SG, I’m not there with the Ultra yet.
One of them has to go soon, my CPA says I can only have one payment, but I think my son and I will take a ride somewhere first.
Anyway, I just wanted to share my good fortune.

But it seems to me it would just be a hell of alot cheeper to get another seat for when the wife rides on the SG?...
But what do i know...I can only afford one bike. :-(
Yes, the plan is sell the ultra and get an Ultra seat and tourpack speakers for the SG. But for now, I have two Harleys, I have two Harleys. LOL

The ride home felt fine, but I guess it would because I usually ride a SG.
Anybody got a pair of Ultra shocks laying around?

Yeah - I'm sorry that paint isn't for me... But it is cool to have two motorcycles!
I'd like a lighter, round town motorcycle, I'm thinking Fat Bob. But the FLHX does awesome in town, maybe look for a BMW K1300R...
have a good one.

HOWEVER, a friend just rode it and said the front tire felt low. He was right, 12.5 psi. I should have checked before I left the sellers house. Maybe that is why the fuel mileage is so bad as well. I'm sure it will handle much better now.
I'm still wondering about the Python slip-ons with stock induction and no turner.
My wife likes controlling the radio stations from the back seat. Can I fix that?
Oh, I thought CB radio was stock, is that not the case? Why two antennas?
I know that the color is either love or hate thing, but being from New Mexico, I guess turquoise is in my blood.
