I had my FLHTK fall over while on the lift but it was my fault, well partly. I was using the installed wheel vice and had 2 straps securing the bike to the table. Unfortunately I had the straps going straight forward not to the side. The lift was raised up and the bike began to lean and tipped over, lift and all. The wheel vice held the bike securely which because the lift was raised high, pulled the lift over too. Saddle bags were off and only damage was a scratch to the bat wing where it hit a roll of carpet sitting to the side of the lift. Everything fell to the left. Bike, lift, all laying 90 degrees on their sides.

1st had to get the wheel out of the vice and the straps removed. Slid the lift out of the way and back flat on the floor out of the way, lifted the bike back on the engine and bag guards and then lifted upright using the lifting technique. Why was it my fault? Not having the front straps angled to the corners of the table lift which would have prevented the bike from starting to lean. Had removed the rear straps also to work on the rear tire. I have used the lift since that time but added tie-down hooks at the front corners and more hooks along the sides. I am going to replace the wheel vice with the black wheel chock though.

I was sitting on the right side watching it roll to the left and yes it scared the crap out of me.

I built side extensions out of 2x6 and 1/2" plywood. Extensions are 6' long by 18"wide. When the bike and lift fell over, it landed square on the left extension instead of the concrete floor.

I have read all the threads and I am going to pull the trigger on one. No one has spoken in length on the #69904 the taller of the 2 lifts. I found that other than the height difference on the 69904 it is 12 longer I assume the ramp is longer because of the height and it is 1/4" narrower. I am 6'3" so I think the extra 3.5" would be useful(I know I know everyone could use extra) but does anyone know of other differences?

Default $299.99

I just pulled the trigger on the HF table.
After following this post for several days and knowing I would eventually buy a table I checked the HF website and both tables are on sale now. $299.99
I used a coupon code: 65002072 for an additional $75.00 off.
Cost of table $224.99
tax $19.32
truck freight $96.94.
Total cost $341.25

Any HDforum members who want to try it out just come on over next week. I am sure to have a bike or two around that need some attention.

That code does not work, says this item is excluded from certain coupon offers. I am really drooling to get one of these and if I could score it for 225, I will jump on it, are you sure that is the correct code? Thanks.

I have one. No complaints. Just got it a month ago after reading everything I could on lifts. I got the chock it's a needed addition. It's a home hobby shop. If I was a commercial shop I would get a more expensive one that I could get a tax advantage with. Just sayin.

Up date on mine did not get the taller one the standard was on sale for 299.99 took it home loaded my 2011 Ultra on it so far so good right, then I put the safety bar in slowly lower it. Below is what I ended up with I stopped it at this point it would of bent more if I had not pumped it back up. A lot of people here have had great luck with them don't know if I received a lemon or it is just bad karma. I could of reinforced the safety lock system on it but like many have say you need to watch the pump and if it is altered the lift the warrantee does not apply. So I took it back and I will save a little longer and get something else.

That bar with the ring through the hole in your photo is not the same as what came with mine that was purchased in December. Mine flexes with the Ultra, but not much.

It's not the same as I got either, mine is definitely thicker. Very little if any flex.
