How easy or difficult for shorter riders to put this on the table lift? Anyone with pics of getting the bike on the lift, and maybe one of being parked on it?
I ride mine on and off the lift, just line up with the wheel chock and go till it locks in (I wouldn't try it with the vice that comes with it)
I have a J&S too. It's pretty good for doing everthing I do. The only reason to go to a lift table is the higher working level and that would be nice. Unfortunately you can't drag the lift table around like the J&S jack.
I bought it this past weekend. The $299 coupon works so you can't really beat it for the price. I did throw the front wheel vise in the trash it came with though. Bought and mounted another wheel chock on it.
Dang guys, I just wouldn't trust my bike on that lift. No offense to those that have it, but I just couldn't trust it day in, day out. Piece of mind is worth it, to me anyway. Don't know of a single shop that uses the HF lifts - might be some, but I wouldn't trust them either.
I think the track record for these lifts speak for themselves. Too many people have them and like them. No they aren't like the more expensive lifts, but has anyone ever heard of one collapsing??????? No they have not! If you are on a budget and want a lift, jump on it!!
Put a wheel chock on mine and never looked back. Great lift-bought mine because my neighbor has one and owns a dozen or more bikes. He is always working or restoring something-never see the lift empty and he swears by it. He has had his no less than 6 years.

The lift has a safety bar that you slide in as an extra measure. If you ever witnessed a friend use it or try it yourself you would more than likely change your mind-unless your a Handy lift rep.
