The problem I have with the HF lift table is that the capacity is too close to the weight of the bike that I am likely to want to put on it. If it had a 1500 pound capacity I would have a lot more confidence!

Plenty of Ultra Classics lifted on the HF lift, including mine, with zero issues. Just gotta have a chock in place of that vise.

I park my bike on it every night. I use it to change brakes, tires, oil, makes cleaning a lot easier, also use it to change tires and brakes on buddys bikes. so I could have spent $1000+ for something that does the same thing just so I can say I have X-brand lift or (like I did) take the other $600 and buy more goodies for the bike

Had one for about 5 years now. Can't begin to count the number of Ultra's and SG's that I've had on it. Great lift for the coin. As for getting the bike on it I used to use some wooden platforms as others have suggested. That is until my 14 yr old son watched me wrestle them out of the corner of the garage one day and asked my why I didn't just walk beside the bike (running and slipping the clutch) so I could see the wheel chock around the fairing. It's easier than it sounds believe me.

I'm getting myself one this month. If you'll search the forums you can find pics other members have posted. Very good lift for the money.

By the way...Harbor Freight ad is in American Iron magazine.

HF had a scissor style 1500 lb lift that was only a few hundred more but I believe it has been discontinued. You might find one somewhere but I dont see it in their listings anymore. I just sold mine a couple months ago for $450 and dropped the coin on a K&L MC625R. Figured if I was going to all the trouble to recess it flush into the floor it might as well be top of the line. I'll be putting the finishing touches on it tomorrow.

I have used that lift table for about a year now, almost daily. I did put a different wheel clamp on front of it though. A much better one than the one that came on it. It has been a good lift /no problems. Oh, also I put a couple more eye-bolts in it just to give me a few more options for strapping bike down. Can never be too cautious..

I have 2 of those. Very nice chock for the money and you can use it on the floor or the trailer etc. Comes with a spreader bar, tie down eyes and feet. With the cupon about $43-46 instead of $80. A similar Condor is $250+
