Default Lowering my roadking custom???

I am new to the HD world after riding a rocket for 10 years. I had enough close calls and will NEVER go back to the rockets. I love my new Harley.

Ibought a 2004 Roadking Custom and am looking to lower it. Any info would be great on what company and where to buy. Thanks to all that reply!!

I got 12" air shocks and also put 1 1/2" lower blocks on, no rubbing issues but I pretty much ride solo and also I can check the shock pressure, I know some folks stay away and don't like the blocks, but my feet hit the ground and like the looks, also the bike handles good. The blocks does change the shock angle so you have to keep a eye on it. For long trips loaded up I take the blocks off, so it's up to you what you want to do for looks and drivability. Progressive 440 shocks also are the way to go, but for me my set up works well.

Don't mess with the Draggin Baggers system.

I'm sure there are plenty of people on here that will tell you the same thing. If you want an air system check out the Hi-Lo or Legends. There are more out there that are quality systems. No No DB system.

I heard these types of kits put a lot of stress on the shock mounts and i have heard people say they have broke. I can't tell you from experience but you may want to do a little more research on this type of kit.

I had a Solow kit I bought from ebay. It actually lowered the biketoo much. I usually ride 2 up and with the lowered clearance, I was bottoming out a lot. I ended up taking it off when I got nostalgic saddlebag guard rails. The rails wouldn't fit with the kit. Get some shocks that are measured out for the height you want.
