Default Kickstand Slippage

I have a 2012 Street Glide and was wondering if anyone else has this problem? I have to watch where I park it. If it's on a "slight" incline, the bike slides on its kickstand. I almost have to make sure it's on level ground. I tried putting a round disk spacer under the stand but it still wants to slide. If I'm around others, it's not happening, I'm afraid it will drift into there's.

How about you, and what do you do to prevent it?

I have an '07n Street Glide and have not noticed the sliding. If I am on an incline and there is any doubt about it, I just put the bike in gear.

Park it in gear if you're on an incline

My 2012 Classic has done the same if I am not "careful" when choosing the parking angle. They are fairly foregiving given their size, but, the MoCo distributes the weight well enough to allow them to "slide" versus focussing 500 lbs on that single point which is the side stand. The first time it slid forward, and caught itself (the side stand will pivot a bit and then lock) I almost had a heart attack, thinkin she was join down.

Just need to pay attention when parking which isn't too difficult.

The first few times the stand moves until it locks will give you a pucker factor for sure. As stated above, watch where you park it and if its on an incline/decline put it in gear and you will be good to go.

I always make a deliberate effort to extend the sidestand fully and make sure its locked with the full weight of the bike on it before I dismount.. then, if it slides a bit, no problem.
I do chuckle at the people yelling to me that my bike is about to fall when they see that sidestand at an oddball angle.
On the occasion I do ride a non-HD, boy do I miss that locking sidestand. I can't believe more manufacturers have not adopted it.
