Correct! I never let "facts" get in the way of actual real world experience. But as is said very often...Hey! it's your bike. Do what you want.
David
Yeah, me either. That's why I don't use snake-oil products like this.
But I'd love to hear about your actual real world experience in doing a blind test between the same wheel/tire combination unbalanced, with a standard weight, and with Dyna Beads.
Like I said, there's simply no way the beads can do what they claim to do, unless they're actually made of magical fairy ********* and they can defy the laws of physics.
I do not sell the Ride On Sealant as we hate taking off tires with that stuff in it.
What mess? Ride on is not slime. You wouldn't even know its there if you didn't look in the carcass. Are you slamming the other brand here because you don't sell it? I'm just trying to go on facts and here comes the smoke and mirrors.
My bike, stock Dunlop tires, stock wheels, horrible wobble under wide open acceleration at 90-100mph. Installed Avon Cobras on stock wheels and use Dyna Beads as directed. Wobble was completely gone at any speed.
This could be a result of the new tires? Maybe. Dyna Beads? Maybe. Combo of the two...?
Last summer I switched to a lighter set of wheels, Perrelli night dragons and external wheel weights. Wobble is back.
This winter I'm switching back to Avon cobras and Dyna Beads and never looking at anything else for this bike again.
Like I said, there's simply no way the beads can do what they claim to do, unless they're actually made of magical fairy ********* and they can defy the laws of physics.
????????????????????????????
The laws of physics is what makes them work!
I'm not going to push my engineering degree around but my real world experience tells me I'll be just fine with the beads.
As for the beads getting on the floor, yea, but they will sweep up, and I've actually been able to reuse them. Tell the tires guy before they break the tire down and it's no big deal.
The beads are moving across an uneven, beveled surface around an eccentric orbit and being displaced at least once per revolution. Additionally, the orbit is moving in three dimensions at random, and the light spot (for the sake of the discussion) is one inch off of the tire's centerline.
It can't work, no matter what the marketing department says.
