Up until recently I had no desire to have them on my bike. However I had a flat tire a couple weeks ago and while I was airing up my tire I took off my bag and stupidly set it down without securing the lid, it of course fell over and totally scratched up the lid of one saddle bag.So what are you all using for lid covers and how much did you pay.I see prices all over the map for these things from about 80 a piece from Harley to as little as 40 a set on Ebay. Also anybody know off hand what a new vivid black saddle bag lid would cost? Is there an aftermarket version?

Errr Special ED ... I don't think fatbobs come with saddle bags.
I don't think the Hog Covers would help me the lid is already scratched I think you'd be able to see the scratches right through them. If the came in black that would be usefull.
I have a set of Ride Tek that I use from time to time.
They come with straps and d-rings with bags that you can strap on top for extra storage. When your not using the bags the strap just go into your bag.
They are black vinyl but are soft on the inside where it contacts the bag.
