I run a 21 and dropped the front. Looks much better than the alternative. I also dropped the rear slightly to give the bike a lower profile. I am also 5-10. Stock rear wheel. No worries on the ride besides being a little more careful over the bumps.

Just want to stick a plug in for Hogpro, just ordered a 21" from them myself and got a great deal. Wheel should be here tomorrow, can't wait to get it mounted up with my new chrome front end.

Kenny, thanks for your business, and post some pics up once you get that wheel on please. It was a pleasure working with you.

HogPro, what wheel/tire size combo and brand do you recommend for guys that want just the WWW 21 up front? Avon and Metz don't make a wide white wall for a 3-3.5 wheel. It seems my options are either a narrow quality tire, or a fat low end if I want the WWW.

For a touring bike either 21x3.25 or 21x3.5. The width varies on the brand of wheel you order. Tire size is 120/70/21. If you want a wide white wall the only choice is a Vee Rubber. As far as tire brand if you are doing WWW you have absolutely no choice. That is it.

If you are running blackwalls you have plenty of options. Metzeler ME880, Avon Cobra, Michelin ComII etc etc. If you insist on a wider 21" tire there is the dunlop D408F which is a 130/60/21 but only available through Harley direct.

The 3.25 or 3.5 width makes no difference in teh way that the bike rides, and the 120/70/21 tire is narrower than the stock tire causing the bike to fall into corners much easier. Also, the shape on the 120/70/21 is different, more rounded. If you are used to riding on stock wheels and tires (depending on year of your bike) your ride will be much better with this kind of a setup, not to mention a high quality tire always makes a huge difference in teh ride as well.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask away. We are here to help.

Thanks for the reply. I will most likely be going through you since I appreciate all your prompt posts to peoples questions. I want the WWW, but still need to deciede on things like rotors, calipers and spoke style. I may just do a wheel and tire. Thanks again.

My pleasure. If you are going chrome I like the diamond cut spokes as they give the wheel a lot more detail that just polished spokes. I think out matching rotors (1 piece polished) look much better than the stock rotors and on a wheel like this with the fat spokes make a huge difference in the looks of the entire package. Especially on a bagger where you have a dual disc setup.

This has a black rim and hub but it illustrates the difference between the regular spokes and the diamond cut spokes.
