Been a lurker for a long while...
This post made me respond because of my experience with Hogpro.
I ordered a Fat Spoke Sinister Wheel Set from Hogpro last year and they were great!
2000 Road King originally 16" front and rear.
Went to a 21" front and stayed with the 16" rear.
Because I had the whole bike torn down (another story!) I installed Progressive Monotubes and lowered it 1 inch, the ride is fantastic!
I also drilled the front fender mounts as discussed in the Forums and have had no issues.
Got wheels with rotors and Metz tires with Dynabeads, would order the same package in a heartbeat!, out of the box and on the bike no issues whatsoever!,
My pleasure. If you are going chrome I like the diamond cut spokes as they give the wheel a lot more detail that just polished spokes. I think out matching rotors (1 piece polished) look much better than the stock rotors and on a wheel like this with the fat spokes make a huge difference in the looks of the entire package. Especially on a bagger where you have a dual disc setup.
This has a black rim and hub but it illustrates the difference between the regular spokes and the diamond cut spokes.
Man I love me some spokes. Are they really as bad as I hear they are? Maintenance wise? Not cleaning, but tube, truing etc?

They suck in the regards that they are much easier to damage than an aluminum wheel. I hit a rough cut rail crossing and bent a rim. No fun but they look fantastic otherwise.

I had not considered that...thanks for the heads up
I am running 21f 16r. For the first 6 months I did not lower the front end. What I noticed after I lowered the bike a inch. It rode more stable at freeway speeds. The front fork stopped diving when I would use the front breaks. I really think that it was a big improvement after I lowered the bike. Another you might not know is yours and my bike come with shorter rear shocks on the rear. So the rake after the 21 wheel is going to be pretty big and noticable.
How much $ is the 1" progressive front shock lowering set up?
Paid $280.00 for my Monotube 1" Lowering setup, with shipping. Shopped eBay pretty hard.
No issues with cleaning or any damage to the Sinister 21" Fat Spokes, quick S100 spray and wash.

I use dryer to blow them dry after a wash. Then wipe them down with a spray wax or something similar. Still more work than a regular wheel but the look is incomparable.
