I run tubes in mine on recommendation of the supplier but they said its not required.
Going to try the wax wipe down on wheels after wash next time, sounds like a great idea!

And when I have the time I will use a good chrome/aluminum polish and do every spoke and nipple and in between the nipples as well on the rim. Crank up the tunes and take your time. Nothing compares to the look of a Sinister Big Daddy fat spoke rim. Except a diamond cut Big Daddy.
