If the 13 was involved in an accident make sure you are able to take it on a good test ride.
Also, I know many say that there are many SG's on the road, well, All I can say is, who cares, its yours. LMAO!
Good luck getting your new bike and getting a good deal on selling and buying.

I wouldn't buy a bike without ABS.

=i talked with a dealer and they ahve two im interested in
2010 used street, not sure whats on it
and a 2013 street that needs a new fender (being replaced by harley) and engine guard but the rest is in brand new condition. its only around 800kms on it

anything i should look into when buying a street glide?
as well anything thats pretty much required to buy when you get one?
Unless you're getting a killer price on the 2010, I'd go for the 2013 for the 103. You can do some good solo touring on the SG with the detachable tour pak (I like the chopped tour pak myself). Also, keep in mind that the shocks on the SG 1" shorter than most other touring models, so you may want to upgrade them if you are going to be riding with weight.

Good luck.

Talking

SG is the way to go, don't let the EG/UG guys talk you into something you don't need. Street glide appealed to you because of the good looks, and still a great tourer.

Depending on condition, go for the 103"-13'. You will always wonder why you didn't if you get the 96", ALWAYS. If the 13' is as described, you should be able to trust tires, brakes, normal wear stuff with 800 km on it. Make sure to test ride for sure.

If the '13 was in an accident.... I would not buy it unless the dealer gave you a FREE extended warranty. Frame could be out of whack- never know about stuff like that.

The 103" has a few more beans than starting with a 96" I had a 07 FLSTF with a 96" I had a 103" build on it after 7K miles.

Not sure why a '13 bike would not have ABS standard?

Do the Canadian HD bikes have the cat converter in the head pipe?
