Washing...
I've been taking mine to a high pressure car wash for 20 years. Never had a problem, it only goes if real bad with bugs or rain, 3-4 times a year just some common sense on where ya point the wand, if I haven't run in rain or bugs aint bad I just use a waterless wash or detail spray after a days riding. Oh and it goes after I service it.

Yes, Im in the camp that pressure washers are ok. I hold the wand close enough to apply soap and water, but far enough to not get in electronics. Think of it as rain going 60mph.

When I have the garden hose available, I'll wash it that way. When I don't, I'll use the local self-wash w/pressure washer. I have done it this way for my 30 years worth of riding and have NEVER had a failure that could be blamed on pressurized water. Maybe, it's because I use a little common sense when using the pressure hose. Whenever I use s100 (which is only once or twice a year), I always go to the self-wash because of the increase volume of water and also the one time s100 stained my new, untreated driveway..

I pressure wash the hell outta mine...I get all up in the cracks and crevices and im all up close on it too. Never had a problem and will continue to do so until I do. Its a machine...it has no feelings for me...therefore, I have no feelings for it. I treat it as a machine...not as a life with flesh that can be injured with high pressure spray...just sayin
