Default what head pipe do i have?

2009 Ultra, Canadian bike. Was all set to drill out the cat yesterday. Got her blocked up, got the bit, removed the muffler and took a peek inside and wth? no Cat? Pipes smooth inside, no evidence of their being one there ever. Looked further and there is one large O2 sensor at the inside top of the front pipe. Thought 09 "international and Cali" models all had cats?

Havent owned it since new so cant comment on what previous owner had done. Any thoughts? Now i cant look forward to heat relief on my right boot?

tap the front header pipe with a pen, from the exhaust port down.

"tink, tink, tink, clunk" means you've found the cat.

if you have the manual you can decode the vin and that'l tell you which version bike you have. USA or DOM ( Domestic) models start with 1HD1

when I was shopping 09's here in PHX, a surprising number were CA spec bikes with Cats.
Some dealers bordering CA carry CA spec bikes so that they can sell to CA riders without having to carry excessive inventory

no clunk, all tink tink
Vin starts with 5HD1 so its an international model--guess the previous owner must have done me a favour

No cat in the head pipe of my 09 Canadian Classic.I've owned since new.I'm not sure, but I don't think any of the 09s had cats.
