I found the tour pak plug. Cut the zip tie and there it was with the extra antenna wire. I ended up cutting it out of the sheath it was in with the antenna wire with and ran it up under the seat and recovered it with some wire conduit...that way its up under the seat and out of the way and I don't have to take the side cover off when I want to hook everything up. It will be right there when I change the seat and put the box on.
Hopefully there will be enough wire in the y harness for the side lights that I'll be able to get the plug outside the box.
The lights and flap should be here some time next week so I can finish this up.
Here is the plug I will be using to power the lights. It is in fact the tour pak plug, same as an Ultra has. It's a black 3 AMP multi-lock plug the is run in the same conduit as the antenna cable on the right side of the fuse box under the left side cover (zip tied to a coiled up bundle). There are 3 wires in the harness, black = ground, blue = run, and red/yellow = stop. This wasn't always a stand alone plug on the Street Glide but it's on my 12. On the older bikes it was used to power the fender tip light.
Glad it worked out, did you go with the Harley smoked side lights?
Post some photos on where you put the hole for the plug,
Thanks for getting this all started!
Yes...HD smoked light kit. The tour pak SHOULD be pre marked for the hole for the side light wires by a + under the chrome strips. I'll post pics of everything including the 2 holes for the flap. In total I'll be drilling 5 holes in this brand new tour pak.
Did the chrome pieces on the side come with it..... mine's ordered in Black denim....... I'll need to remove those.
Yes the chrome (plastic) pieces come on the side. You can't really just remove them, as there would be a noticeable spot on the bottom of the box something was missing. You can paint them or replace with side marker lights.
My marker lights will be on by the end of the week.
Hey Craig, I was thinking of the side lights and the rear smoked light. However looking up the rear led smoked light, it looks to appear like it doesn't come with any wiring or a wiring harness kit is not mentioned. Did you put this on or know what to do.
I ordered the rear speakers, they come with all the wiring.

My stuff will be here today and I will take pictures when I put them on.
The HD kit DOES come with the wire harness. Can't speak to a knock off kit or something that looks like a good prices on ebay.
