I just got off the line with surdyk, they wanted another $36 for shipping because the weight was over 20lbs.... even though the tourpak is a direct from HD part, they include the weight in the one primary order, I guess HD ships it to them, and they flip it back to me... can't complain though. 20% off, (mostly) free shipping (up to 20lbs if over $350).... and no sales tax... sweet deal, even with the extra $36 shipping.

I didn't order the barrel lock, figured I could get that local (plus the few screws they don't include)... but if the turn around time is that long, I'll have to call my dealer up and get on that now.

Thanks!

You could have gotten it shipped free from: http://www.kutterharleyonline.com/

But it's all good. I'm not a big fan of Surdyks.

If you didn't get the liner you wight want to get one. The box sucks on the inside without the liner.

Yeah, I did grab the liner and the matching gray top liner/organizer.

I'll try Kutter on my next large order, thanks.

I find most of the time I compare prices surdyke sometimes is a few bucks cheaper than kutter when they are doing their 20% off but when they hit you with the shipping kutter beats them every time.

The vivid black Tourpak on Kutter is $764 plus free shipping, on Surdyke its $679.00, thats way cheaper.

Yeah, Surdyke was running 20% off ALL HD parts, but it ended the 15th, then I checked on the 16th and it was there again until the 21st, and now I just checked and it says until 01/20/14... weird.

Anyway, up until yesterday they had a promo code for an extra gift with the free shipping which turned out to be a $10 gift certificate they email you once the parts ship. They charge you $10 in the cart, then apply the promo code for -$10.00 , which cancels it, then later you get the $10 gift cert code for a future purchase. lol

(edit)
Here's my total (so far)... without the barrel lock, which I'm having my local dealer order (Surdyke wouldn't append my existing order to add it today).

I forgot their "insurance" charge too (see pic), but that was $12, so screw it, still a deal!

Yeah that is a bit of a difference. I got mine from LSHD before the ownership changed and got it for $694 shipped free. Bottom line shop around for the best deal...no loyalties when my cash is on the line!

By the way I ordered a brake/running light from Custom Dynamics to put on the back of the box. I'll post up some pics when I get in wired up and on. It will be around $35 total.

Next project will be a wall rack to store the box when it's off the bike.
