Just got an 02 Ultra
Ok, I listened to you guys and you said this was the best model year to get on my budget. I didn't steal it but it only has 16,000 miles and I paid $9,000 for it. Been sitting in the guys shed for 3-years and hardly ridden. It's got lots of chrome on it. There is a slight pitting on the chrome an hoping never dull will make it perfect. Needs fluids changed asap and I'm trying to get a shop manual now. Nothing on ebay or our classifieds. If you know of one let me know. Please advise where the drain plugs are. Also, it has fairing mounted mirrors. I don't care for them and want the stockers. Anybody want to swap let me know. Going to put 10oz of Seafoam in the tank to clean out everything. Gotta lot to learn on this girl, quite different from my evo softail. Thanks guys!

the motor oil drain plug FACES FORWARD
the tranny drain plug FACES DOWN
these both take a wrench...5/8" ?
they are both on the oil pan under the motor.
the primary drain is on the bottom rear of the primary case, likely an allen or torx head
the clutch inspection cover bolts are T27, a T25 will strip them.
think about flushing the brake fluid too
tires ? more than 6 years is dicey even with full tread

Can't believe you didn't get a '14 - you've missed out on all that technology, liquid cooling...
Just messin' with ya man! Sounds like a great find. Get those fluids changed and put some miles on her.
BTW, try your local dealer for a manual, might be a bit more expensive, but probably better than waiting on it to appear somewhere.
