I know a guy with a 2012 103" trike that is using about a quart of oil to every 2000 miles. He contacted different dealerships and they both told him that is normal on a 103". Is anyone else experiencing this? I don't need to add any oil between changes on my '11 SG with a 103".

Not normal
the 110s use a little oil normally but not the 103s
That sounds kind of excessive to me. I wonder if he is using 20-50 synthetic in the crankcase? You might mention that he use what the manual suggests, i.e. 50 weight.
Doesnt seem right to me. That would be 1/3 of the oil in my Bob. My bike doesnt use any oil in 5k miles and I ride the **** out of it. Not good when the oil is also the coolant. Where's it going, would be my question. Is it blow by into the air filter? Or what. If it was my bike I'd be finding out why.
