Default Stock Rear Air Shocks?

I would like to know if anyone has had there original shock oil changed out to say something like Redline heavy weight shock oil? and have you noticed any difference in ride qaulity?

I changed mine over to Bel-Ray 10 wt. oil. Much better ride even 2 up. wife noticed improvement also.

Yes. I used a soil shock therapy. I'll go a little heavier next time.

As another mentioned, there are numerous threads on this subject.

HD air shocks suck, get rid of them and get you a nice pair of OHLINS

Not that I am a suspension expert on all makes and models, but I have built 4 offroad cars 2 of which have 25 inches of travel and the other 2 have 20" so I do know a little about shocks, suspension and wheel travel.

With that said, rather than changing your shocks right of the bat. We should as the question; what would you like to do with your rear shocks. How are they acting?

I ask this, because the leading offroad manufacturer uses an airbag design, when tuned correctly crushes the competition, which are coil-over.

What do you feel that your bike needs more of rebound or compression?

I have ran amsoil medium shock therapy and it was a little to firm, I am running belray 5w and its better but if you want a real improvement you need to buy better shocks, the stock design is just not very good.
