Hi Folks, I am purchasing a new Street Glide for 2014 and the dealer has no replacement windshields in stock for that particular bike I'm told. Has anyone seen any taller replacement windshields out there anywhere yet?
The new 2014 Fairing design changed almost everything on the Fairing and I doesn't look like any parts from a 13 will fit on a 14. The '14 windshield has a different hole pattern & attachment point design to clear the Fairing vent.
The large after market guys will just buy a new bike & put their engineering dept. to work on it. The smaller guys like me will take longer, but in time I'll have an Aero windshield for the 2014 models.

So which one of you guys in NV are going to ride over to fast aire and let them take your new fairing off so they can get rolling?
Doc's HD in Kirkwood, MO has them. Got the 7" windsplitter for my Ultra this past Wed. I believe they will ship them.
For me this is a temporary fix until the aftermarket folks develop one. Not a big fan of the HD shields but didn't have much of a choice.
Good luck.

Welcome to the world of nextgen ownership...you're the "Highlander" of m/c ownership and now must wait for the vendors to catch-up to $pend upgrade ca$h. Enjoy the new scoot!

I'm gonna be as patient as possible and wait for the 2014 Aero. Had one on my CVO (that I just traded in for the 2014 SGS) and loved it it. I had the 6- DG and it made a huge difference. Thanks Jim!
