I have a set of incredibly bright set of Radiantz LED rear lights (run, brake, turn) on the back and some LED turn signals up front. I am using a Badlands load equalizer. The system works great on my '10 Streetglide.
Does anyone know if there are any wiring/electrical system changes on the '14 Streetglides that would prevent me from swapping the parts over?
The one change I know of is that the new bikes use a http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Controller_area_network That means that accessories are not wired in as they are on your bike and so the parts you mention may not transfer. It's early days yet so it may take a while before we can all appreciate the significance of Canbus. I know the BMW bike owners are still working things out and they had Canbus a while ago.
I have Custom Dynamics LED's with their equalizer installed on my Wife's 2012 Softail Deluxe which has the "Canbus System" and they work fine. Keep in mind the lights are still 12V, it's the signal being sent to the light that is coming from the Canbus system.
G20, what model do you have? I'm new to the world of LEDs, and I'm picking up my 14 SG on Saturday. I'd really like to brighten up the back end. I'm just completely lost when it comes to LEDs.
I think I did read somewhere in the flurry of announcements and websites that there WAS an electrical change of some kind in the systems on the new 2014s. That said, I would go cautiously. Nothing like frying your new sled.

I have a set of Radiantz 1157 and 1156 clusters with a Badlander Load Equalizer. After doing some research, I found that the Badlander LE was the best one out there. Badlander's customer service is amazing and the Radiantz LEDs are incredibly bright. I got the whole set up as a package deal through Badlands.
I talked to one of the techs at the dealership today and he said customers have been running LEDs on the Can-Bus Softails and Dynas without any issues. You don't need to run a load equalizer with the new Can-Bus and the lights will work properly. The only issue is that the signal indicator on the dash may flash twice as fast (the actual lights will not).
I think the brightness of the LEDs will outweigh the faster dash flashing.
