An easy tip to help with removing the fairing is to first remove the four torx screws that hold the entire headlight housing to the fairing, remove the entire housing, then simply unplug the headlight wiring.
This makes removing the fairing easierand reassembly of the headlight is a snap, keeps the light adjustment and the fairing is easier to remove around the passing lamps with out the headlight wiring.
Make sure you put a large towel on the front finder!!!
