I had PYO monkey bars 12" installed recently. I have a hawg wired HUA 360 with a sony dsx 200 stereo and an arc amp.
I have noticed that the handlebar controls are intermittent and only work for a brief while and then they start acting up before not working at all.
hawg wired said that if the connections look ok with the module then it was probably an internal wiring issue in the bars.
I have also noticed that my abs light is on all the time now.
Is there any wiring in the handlebars that relate to the abs as well as the handlebar controls?
Okay on the left hand side of the fairing near the bottom screw that holds the fairing on there is a black plug from inside the fairing that seems to connect to a wire that runs along the brake line to the wheel. It was unplugged. does anyone know if that would be the cause of the abs light being on?

Yep that sounds like front abs speed sensor that should tale care of abs light. On your stereo I'd reseat the connector from Hawg Awired controller to Headunit. It is possible u have chaved wires inside bar but try that first.
Could be the ABS culprit - find the matching socket & give it a try. IRT the wire/switch issues - best to take bike back to your bar installer & explain. Seems like the wiring's pinched, shorting, or was stretched during install. Good luck!
