Fosgate PBR300x2 issue figured out
Lately my amp has been clipping then shutting off then coming back on 20 to 30 minutes later while riding and couldn't turn it up to listening level. At first, I thought it was the input output connections, not the case. I never even thought of the power connection because it always turned on when I had the outer fairing off. Well today I got fed up and pulled and tugged on just about every connection. The power and ground wires that go into the amp connector were in and tight but when I pulled on them the amp cut off when I pushed on them it turned on. So I unscrewed the connector terminals on the plug, pulled the wires and sure enough it was pinched on the plastic wire cover, I guess I didn't strip the wires long enough. I corrected that re connected the wires in the plug with plenty of bare wire. Yahtzee, problem solved. I know very few posts are pics behind the outer fairing of a FLHTP, so here's the rat nest.
