Default Which part did i order wrong?

I ordered the 4pt docking hardware for my 14 RK, and put it on.

Then ordered a detachable sissybar which came today.

So i put it all together, attach the sissybar and notice the front clamps of sissybar attach to the top of the rear suspension. The back clamps attach to the front pegs from the docking hardware.

This leaves me with 2 empty pegs which im sure ill get used to, but right now look terrible to me just sticking out like that.

So ... did i order the wrong sissybar? Heres what i ordered: 52610-09

Or did i order the wrong docking hardware, maybe there is one which only has the 2 pegs i need? It does seem to fill the spot and fit perfectly. But maybe this one is for a TP, whereas they make another for just a sissybar?

Thanks

The 2 back pegs are for a luggage rack. Comes in pretty handy.

I would keep what you have as you may decide to use the extra posts in the future. You can purchase chrome post covers to clean the look up.

There are different sizes, so just make sure you order the right size for your kit.

Just off the phone with dealer who says no such thing as a 2pt for a 14.

The only thing available is what I have.

You ordered the right one really.

As mentioned, there is a 2-point and 4-point.
Your 4-point is needed IF you ever want to add a detachable luggage rack or tour pack.

If all you ever wanted was the sissy bar, then the 2-point would have been enough.
But then you wouldn't be able to add a detachable luggage rack or tour pack.

They make chrome (or black) magnetic caps to cover the unused points.

I just took a look in the '14 catalog, and your right.
Only a 4-point listed for the '14 models.
