Grats on the bike and looks wicked (cause its new) word of advice from a previous owner of a Denim black Fat Bob take very good care of the paint. Avoid oil stains and water deposits from rain and pine tree needles. Unlike clear you cant just buff it out. Clean it regularly and should no worries. Looks beautiful new, ride on bro.
Nice bike. And with the black denim you get a color matched inner fairing.
Just curious, but what did the dealer end up charging for the optional ABS? HD shows it being a $795.00 option. Any markup on it?
And I agree, that was a huge factor in my desire to trade up.
The color match is a nice side effect - I really like the denim paints...including your bike, BTW...awesome (and may be, at the end of the day, the rarest color)! I paid straight up MSRP. No mark up on ABS.
CONGRATS!!! I just got the exact same bike a few days ago (except I didn't get the ABS, I ended up putting extra money into a new breather and Vance and Hines Monster Rounds Pipes). I will eventually spend money to get the ABS. I have a couple quick questions for you before I pick mine up next week (waiting for pipes and breather to arrive and get installed).
- When someone calls you whether your phone is connected via bluetooth or usb does the
phone number show up on the display?
- When someone texts you whether your phone is connected via bluetooth or usb does the
text show up on the display?
- Do you already feel a need to upgrade the speakers or do they sound loud enough when
you ride (interstate)?
Congrats on the new scoot. Any feedback regarding the new fairing scoop, supposedly helps with the wind buffeting coming up off the tank sides.
BTW Nice ad for SJ Harley (pic), my bikes came from them also.

Hey gogetter, I have not actually spent much time on the infotainment center (yet). Radio is louder and clearer than my 2013 SG. I am going to buy an ipod to fiddle with the sound because the radio is always a lower quality sound. As for the ABS, I dont know that you can add it after the fact? That might be something to look into.
2. Rear fender: taillights are super bright. Not quite as bright as the LED kit I had (just) installed on the 2013, but absolutely no reason to change out. Plenty bright.
I wasn't aware of a taillight / turn signal change between the 13' models ? Did they upgrade the brightness of the lights ? How so ?

You might be right. For some reason I thought that is something you could upgrade b/c they asked me about it when I was buying mine which didn't come with it and I said "no"
Cool ride I purchased 2014 SGS in black denim but only put 200 miles before it went into storage at the dealer but even on that short ride the heat off the cat was nasty and it will be gone come spring when I pick it up
