I here the decel popping is an issue that Zippers is putting out a fix for in the near future. I have the same issue and my tech told me not to change anything because the bike is running so good. I'm just going to wait for the fix. I can pretty much control the decel popping by releasing the throttle slowly. I find that when I release it quick that's when I get the popping.Besides the poppingthe bike is running great.
OK I checked for new maps and found 391 which is a later map then the dealer had installed. I installed that one and have ridden about 60+ miles so far. It seems better but I will have to ride it for a while to see if it gets rid of all the popping. I understand also that Zippers will be coming out with a firmware upgrade.
I have a 07 FLHTCU and installed Hooker Tuned flow mufflers, K&N high flow air filter and the TMAX with Autotune. I have put about 80 miles on the TMAX and the runs great except I am getting detonations on downshifting and decelerating. The backfire seems to be a little better than the first couple of miles but still I am getting them, sometimes quite loud. Will these get better by putting more miles on the bike? I sure hope so, gets a little embarrasing when approaching a stop light (smile).

Did you load base map #392(this being you are implying you have the Hooker slipons with stock headers)? Also download the install instructions from Zippers that are dated 05-31-07 and load the map just like it instructs and DO NOT run the IAC AutoTune portion that the older directions state to do. Should run like a scalded azzape.
I am using stock headers. I believe I uploaded map 240 believing that it would be close enough and the bike should autotune but after 200 miles now and the decel popping and explosions, I think I'll give that 392 a try. I cannot find the document dated 5-31-07 from Zippers that you referenced.

Switch to map #392. HERE is the URL with the manual downloads for reference, however, you want to follow the instructions from the one NOW dated
v2007.06.11(even newer than the first one I posted)..........here is the link v2007.06.11.......let it download and make a copy to take to your bike with you. Also, either PM me your e-mail or call Randy at Zippers and he will send you the instructions on the CORRECT way to re-load a map........ie..start over. This way you don't get things screwed up.
Thanks to everyone for all the advice and info. Last night I re-initialized the module and downloaded #392 then re-initialized again. I also discovered I had exhaust leak between the right side muffler and the stock header which I corrected this morning. The LOUD pops were coming mostly from the right side. I am getting ready to test ride the bike before the El Paso sun gets too hot (forecasted to be 102 degrees today). Will let you guys know what happened on the test ride.

To change maps, I hope you cleared the LearnedFuel Adjustments(CLP Offsets)and Learned Idle Adjustment controls(IAC) at least. As I stated, there is a CORRECT way to "start over" and you may run the risk of your tune being less than optimal or even degradation of your current tune.[&:]
