I agree 100%. I just wondered what difference, if any, a couple points on the A/F mixture makes. My only concern about fuel management is that I hate to stop for gaswhen I'm not ready to take a break. I wish Harley put 10-gallon tanks on their motorcycles.
I stopped by Zippers today to inquire about the TM auto-tune. From what I was told it sounds impressive. I don't mind spending a little extra for something but it better be worth it. I see a lot ofTM ATownersare happy.
Well, my T Max is installed and all I can say is WOW!!! The bike is a completely different machine. The Tuner has brought it back to life. Very pleased with the T Max.
Gordo,
Doing the exact same thing to my 07 FLHX. Did you have theZipper's load the map or did you load it yourself? Which one did you use? Glad to hear you had good results!

I stopped by Zippers today to inquire about the TM auto-tune. From what I was told it sounds impressive. I don't mind spending a little extra for something but it better be worth it. I see a lot ofTM ATownersare happy. A local indy said the thundermax is a waste of money and said dont do it.
Does anyone with this unit have a softail with big radius andNess big sucker. Any feedback on what MAP they used and how its working would be greatly appreciated. Are there any ignition or pinging issues.
I currently have a PCIII and I am not happy with hesitation off zero throttle and pinging if I give it throttle while cruising in 3,4,5.
Its either pinging or the damn compensator, can of marbles bull crap people have been posting.
Thanks I've got the TM w/ auto tune on my '05 Ultra, had Zippers pre load a map for me. Only did the recomended start up procedure and it runs great. I also went to a local indy shop before I bought mine and the owner told me that he installed the TM on his personal bike and that it would'nt even start. Don't know which shop your referring to, but I thought he was a load of bull dung. PM me if you want to know which shop, as I'm in Maryland also.
I had a shop do all my work as I had the rineharts, tuner, chrome inner primaryand big sucker installed at the same time. Not sure what map was used but will call and find out. I'm kind of impatient when it comes to getting my toys done...lol.
