Default Thundermax help

Ihave an07 SG with Rinehart true duals and the newSE proheavy breather with the K&N filter. I installed the Thundermax with integrated autotune.
First let me say I had no idea the 96 was capable of the performance you get with the thudermax. The
bike just screems. No heat issues or aything negative except I have decell poping from 2300rpm down toidle in 3rd, 2nd and 1st. From eveythingI've read from others who have and love the thundermax I am one of the few with decel poping problems. I've been workingwith the guys at Zippers and so far they areas baffeled as I am as to what the problem is.I won't bore you with all of the fixes we've tried. I would like to hear fromanyone that has the thundermax with auto tune and the same or similar set up as mine whether you've had the same problem or not. Thanks for any help in advance.

Did I give you the impression from my post that I thought I could just drive it around the block a couple of times and get a precise tune. I hope there others on this forum that can be helpful.

cowboyglide,
Shot in the dark here. I had decell popping on my RKC when my crossover pipe cracked causing an exhaust leak. I welded it up and had no more decell poping. I realize you have the true duals. Is it one or both pipes popping ? Other thing I have heard of is a lean condition on decell that can cause that. Im sure there are a bunch more things thats my .02 cents. Keep us updated on the fix. I am planning to order the same setup in a few months for my UC.

I thought about an exhaust leak so I removed the pipes and put in new gaskets even though they were only a couple months old and I resealed the muffler to tail pipe with the recommended copper high temp silicone. Didn't help. I added more fuel to the closed throttle positions from 2600 rpm down. Didn't help.
Thanks for your input.

Just a couple of things to check.....is the new air cleaner seated well, no intake leaks anywhere, would be interested in seeing your map, and just for grins, try another map, something close but different, and ride it about 100 miles and with at least three stops and starts, and see if it goes away.

I'm seriously thinking of going with the Tmax system, I've heard great reports on it. Any others who have it that can give input?

Thanks!
