Mine will be here tomorrow, I hope this will not
be a problem as they had to make a map for my
application.

I would think if you do your stop and starts as you
were suppose to all we be well because others have
pluged theirs in with no set up at all and theirs worked
just fine as a plug and play.

Did you get yours pre mapped by Zippers? or do the
mapping yourself?

zippers map 351 for rinehart true duals and hi flo filter but I'm running the new SE pro heavy breather performance air filter Harley came out with in Jan. and its bigger and sucking more air so I'm running lean hince the poping. I made some map changes ( moved the points down to 13.19 AFR) in the tuning maps section yesterday from 1536 rpm to 2560 rpm from throttle position 0.0 to position 29.6 I road 100 miles today stopping and shuting off motor 4 times during the ride. Got rid of 95% of the poping and I will fine tune some more tonight and ride again. Should get rid of the last 5%. It was only 55 degrees here so that may of had some effect. The guys from zippers called me a few minutes ago and they said that what I was doing was correct and I could richen it up even more with no problem. This should put it withinthe % parametersthat the autotunecan then make more adjustments as I ride.I hope I explained it so others with similar problems can understand but remember I am as new to this as you are and I am learning as I experiment. I don't think the guys that have a map made by zippers for their exact pipes and breatherare having any problems. Zippers doesn't have the new breather I have so they can't make a map for my setup. One last comment, the guys at zippers have been great and they have tried really hard to solve my problem including numerous phone calls and consultations with their techs. I have absolutely no regrets buying the Tmax with autotune. My glide runs alotstronger in all gears than it did with the pcIII and I had decel poping with the PCIII also.

OK things are looking good! This is a follow up to my post from yesterday. This morning I lowered the map points in the air/fuel ratio vs TPS section of the tuning maps. I changedeach map for the different rpm ranges from1536 to 2560 down to 13.19 this is 3 map points lower than I had it yesterday when I said I had removed 95% of the decel pops. This increased my fuel in the fuel/air mixture, in other words it made it richer.
It was 68 here today and I rode 120 miles stopping and starting 4 times again. After the first 10 miles no decel pops what so ever the rest of the day which included city and highway miles. It runs like it's tails on fire. Very happy with the results. The Zippers map
351 was just set to lean for my pipes and breather combination. No big deal in fact it was kind of fun doing the tuning and figuring everything out and if I do need to do some additional fine tuning in the future I can. Hope this helps someone that is having similar problems. Tuningwith maps and a laptop is actually pretty cool.

Can you see any reduction in fuel mileage after setting it a little richer?

To early to tell. I ride it like I stole it so fuel milage has never been an issue I have paid any attention to. I can't even tell you what it was stock. I have a deuce also and I can't tell you what mileage it gets either. I just ride em till the needle's on a quarter tank and then I fill up.
When I'm riding with buddies and we stop to fill up we're always withing a few tenth of a gallon.
A lean running motor doesn't necessarily mean better gas milage. Give me a bike that runscooler and gets less gas mileage over a bike that burns your legs and gets great gas mileage anyday.
