look under the seat for plug located by upper frame crossmember near the tank, i beleave it is to the right front...basically if you sat on the bike with-out a seat it would be under your right nut...the plug is black with a cap on it...beleave it has four wires that run to it...look at part numbers hd 70270-04 or 70264-94a about $15 so you will have an idea of of what they look like...these are 1 connector to 2 acc. connector adapters in the parts book..but will give you an idea...if running low amp. items like l.e.d lights could possibly use "tap-ins" from radio shack or auto part with heat shrink tubing to seal...remember to use a test light before cutting or tappiing anything electrical.
Yep, IM is correct. My son wired a cigarette lighter "female" socket and installed it in the plastic cover on the left side of my RK Classic. Now I can plug in my cell phone or GPS when I'm on the road. Took him about 10 minutes. It would have taken me a much longer while, but he is a certified HD mechanic that works at the HD shop here in town. All that money I saved for his education is paying off
The acc. plug under the seat has a plug with 4 wires, and a single plug with a big red wire. The single big red wire is battery power all the time. For the 4 prong acc plug under the seat, one is ground, one is power with the ignition on and the switch on the forks on, one is power with the ignition switch on regardless of the acc switch position, and one is turn signal (I think).
Can anyone confirm what amp fuse the Accessory plug/switch is wired with? My MOM shows one fuse as "ACCESSORY" and it is listed at 15 amps... It's a crazy theory, but I would say it is 15 amps.

OK This is out of the Service manual for 2006 cruiser.
P&A Accessory connector 15Amp max.
4 wires on the connector.
black = Ground
Orange = 15amp service via the accessory switch (ignition feed)
Red/yellow = brake lp feed, power from the brake relay
orange/red = 15amp svc from the ignition switch
What do you plug into the 2-1 connection (70264-94A)? I want to hook up my Satellite Radio and my Ipod. Do I just strip the ends of the cigarette lighter adaptor and plug them into the connections on the new adaptor??
