Default Brake light problems

whats up everyone, 07 electra glide standard. My brake light was out so I went and ordered a bulb, popped it in was ready to go for a ride I check it and nothing. So I check the fuse its blown, ok, new fuse that blows, I go to check for a loose wire and I find 3 wires shredded behind the fuse box area. Now everything on the bike is working except the brake light. Are these my brake light wires ? Now I have no idea where these go to. I found these 3 coming from the main harness. Then I noticed another wire where it looks like its supposed to be spliced and its just a dead end with nothing on it...... I have some pics anything will help. I just don't see a place for these wires to go to. All plugs have no missing wires. and it doesn't look like they were spliced with anyother wires. Or maybe these are shorting out my brakelight. Trying to see if its something simple before I drop it off to the mechanic $$$$$$$$

did a quick search and found this..
okay:
6 wires coming to the rear:
Blue
Red on yellow
black
violet
orange on white
brown
----------------
black is ground
----------------
right rear TS: (labeled 18 a/b)
black
brown

left rear TS: (labeled 19 a/b)
black
violet

Rear light: (labeled 93 a/b)
black
brake light: red/yellow
running light: blue

this will tell you what the wires do...

now... you have a RUN TURN BRAKE module on your bike. Thats the module plugged into the connector you are holding. If i was you, i would remove this module to make sure it isnt faulty. you will then notice that the two opposing ends fit into eachother. You can then match the colors going in and the colors going out to find out which pins those lose wires should go into. They may have just come lose from shaking. My bike is in the shop right now getting new tires and brakes otherwise id pull out my manual.

now i tried disconnecting the module, still nothing i pulled the wires back an taped them so there not touching anything, and my brake light works, but not running light.... ive been staring at these wires now, theres 2 sets of the same color wires coming from the main harness. none of the plugs look like there missing wires... i have the red/yellow, blue and black that i found disconnected. where the wires go to the stock plug that go to the module there is a red and white wire where it looks like it broke off but i dont have a red and white wire missing anywhere. i just dont know where these came unplugged from, do i find the matching color wires and splice them ? these wires obviously have to be going somewhere i just dont know where. im no wiring specialist but i dont see anywhere they would go, and i dont see a spot where theyd be spliced

Do you have a service manual/
If so check the electrical wiring section to see where/what the wires run too.

I don't have a manual, I'm going to have to buy one, and as I try to find where these wires go it might be a good idea to bring it into the shop before I waste more time staring at my bike apart haha.

The service manual is a lot cheaper than letting a tech scratch his *** looking for a place to put those wires, and you'll still spend 50 bux for the manual.

You sure you have the right bulb in there a 2 filament bulb you now you don't have to get the bulbs at the dealer. I believe its a standard 1157 bulb.

1157 is the old style, now its 3157 for brake/tail, its a wedge based bulb.
Not that it helps you now, I have a new spare service manual for 07 Tourers. $50 shipped to you if youre interested.

I have the right bulb, I turn my bike on an hit the brake the light comes on, but I have no running lights and I have 3 wires that I found down behind the fuse box that look torn up, my plugs aren't missing any wires so my problem is. 3 Wires not connected and no running light. I'm going to see if I know anyone with a manual. Its jjst not making sense to me, it was shorting out because the wires were touching something so I pulled them out an taped the ends so they weren't touching anything, replaced the fuse an the brake light works now, when before it just instantly blew a fuse when I hit the brake.

got the bike back from the shop today, so extra wires are there for a trailer plug. Mechanic took the rear tire off, found the plug under the rear fender with the pins pulled out of it. bikes ready to go now
