Haha! I live in Hawaii and I (too my knowledge) still have the only vivid black 14 SG standard. There are only 6 or 7 14s on the entire island.
Congrats on your 2014! I bought my 2013 in April, a little bummed about not waiting for the 14's but it is what it is. Greatly enjoying the '13 I bought, always find myself taking the long way home.
I ordered me S.G.S. in vivid black on sept 4th. It was supposed to be shipped last week but got pushed back till today. Today, it is getting pushed back again and so far they dont know when the new date will be yet.
Did everyone else get theirs on time? The waiting is KILLING me but at least I sill have my 04 Fatboy to ride
I you had been from Pittsford, you would not have to wait.
There seems to be few limiteds for sale. Could the moco be holding production in order to get a handle on the coolant issue? Nobody in the Carolinas has a red limited for sale.
In the UK we are being quoted around a December delivery for the new Limited.
Hello old chap! Assuming they still have it, Black Bear had a two-tone grey one for sale a few days ago. Probably the most dreary colour option of them all!
I dont think you're getting stringed along. Have talked with a few dealers and they all told me that the new touring Harleys are a hot commodity and they are sold before they get in the door. They tell me that HD is working OT to keep up with demand and that is part of the reason there have been a few quality issues on the new ones.
If you can get one in the next month or two, and you dont have to pay a premium to get it, you've done ok.
OT? I went to the York plant on Friday morning of Open House and they had the line running, and while we were there they said they would be shutting down at noon and not running over the wkd. I've been there numerous times over the years and never saw them shut the plant for any tours ...so not sure about the OT thing.
