Last year I bought a Harley Daymaker for my 03 Fatboy. Now that I have a 2014 SGS I would like to use the light in my SGS. Dealer say it won't work......and there isn't an adaptor. does anyone know if three is an aftermarket adaptor?
There's several models of the Daymaker...one with 4 lights and the new one with 6. And there's a 5" and the 7". I have the 5" with 4 lights. I didn't know about he 6 light one until after I had mind in.
As for installing it...if you can change a light bulb in a lamp, you can do this. My main thing was, is it adjusted right. I did the 25' back and 2" down from the height of the light trick but I still wondered. I rode with it at night and no one flashed their lights, like mine was too bright. It just didn't shine out as far as I thought it would.
i have the truck lite in my sg just did a trip to wv and it worked great about have the price of the daymaker
+1 on this, I just Installed this about a week ago, I'm on the road at 2:am ride from PA to NYC everyday this light is amazing. Best 200.00 I have spent on my bike, Nothing but deer and truckers at that time and this Phase 7 lights up entire road..BTW it comes with a 3yr warranty from Truck light.

+ 10. TLPH7 turns dark into day. I love mine. 360 for headlight and spotlamps thru eastern performance, worth every penny. I cant see paying stealer prices when there is better stuff out there cheaper.
