Default Daymaker

I am thinking that this might be my next big purchase for the bike. How much is the going rate for the light plus install? What is the warranty? I have a small issue with paying 500.00 plus a headlight to begin with. Just looking to see if people are happy or if there are other options that might be as good for less $$$

First of all, don't pay list. Go to one of the on-line stores that give 20% off.
https://shop.newcastlehd.com/

You can also buy the Speaker Evolution 8700 headlight from other sources. That's the manufacturer that makes the Daymaker. About $390.00 on some of the truck parts and jeep parts houses.

Installation is simple plug and play.

if you ride at night, it's worth it. you'll forget about the hit to the wallet the first time you ride in the dark.

if you look at the p&a website, you'll notice that most everything hd sells now has at least a 1 year warranty.

I have the black daymaker on my 2013 flhx and it was the best 500.00 I have ever spent. It is super bright and I highly recommend it to anyone that rides at night.

Harley now shows the TL Phase 7 in their 2014 catalog. They call it it daymaker reflector.

$100 less than original daymaker but $100 more than on line Trucklight.

2014 Street Glide uses different headlight wiring harness with one plug going to high and one plug going to low beam. If you buy from Trucklight you will need a $20 adaptor from Harley. For earlier years it is simple plug and play.

The install is an absolute NO brainer.. Save your money and do it yourself.
