Another vote for the Truck-Lite. Plug and play with an extended trim ring. Of all the money I spent on my bike this ranks as 2nd/3rd. That includes a huge list of money spent on the bike. Check all over the internet/classifieds/CL and anywhere else. I like saving gas money.

Best money you will spend on your upgrades. Install is simple. Do it yourself

So I have a trim ring on my bike now. I think it is pn 30107. it goes over the stock trim ring and has a small visor like shape at the top. Will this be able to get reused with the trucklite ?

Bought my HD LED's almost 2 years ago and it has been the best money spent yet. Never have a need for the high beam and the daylight visibility is outstanding. I do get an occasional flash of the high beams only because the light is so white. Bought the headlight and passing lamps at 30% off during Black Friday sale at Somerset HD. I have noticed moisture occasionally inside the passing lamps after the bike sits outside of work during cold nights. After a few hours back home in the garage the moisture is gone.

As for installing it...if you can change a light bulb in a lamp, you can do this. My main thing was, is it adjusted right. I did the 25' back and 2" down from the height of the light trick but I still wondered. I rode with it at night and no one flashed their lights, like mine was too bright. It just didn't shine out as far as I thought it would.
I installed mine last night. I did the 25' thing as well but did NOT adjust 2 inches down. Went for a ride past plenty of traffic and couldn't believe how much light it shined down the road. Did not get flashed either. Think I will leave it this way.

NEVER SAY NEVER!

Well, I finally broke down and ordered a set of the Shark nose LED's for my ole 2009 CVO.

Hopefully I should have them installed this weekend. I know that there maybe some less expense LED's for the Road Glide out there, but man are these things expensive!

Thank goodness, I got these for only $441.00 instead of the $729.00 price tag
or I would still be saying NEVER!!!!

Oh yeah, my local dealership had their annual discount ride from one location to the other, resulting in such a great deal!

We'll folks the results are in.

I just had my bike serviced today along with getting my Day Makers LED's installed.

All I can say is WHAT TOOK ME SO LONG!!!!!!!!

These things are simple the BEST, Hands Down, Best upgrade that I have EVER done on my bike, BARNONE!!!

The Day Makers LED's along with the Custom Dymanics Ringz is simply stupid bright.

BigDaddyMike, if your are still hanging around, you were so correct!

Anyone who is thinking about this upgrade, once installed, you will totally forget about how expensive they are and start grinning again as you light the night away.

Bonus, even more visible light at night adding yet another "safety" feature!

i bought and did a write up somewhere here in the touring section about the original daymakers on a batwing along with the spots. I hated them.

I just bought the newly released "reflector" daymaker, both headlight and spots and have to say my initial impression after installing them is MUCH better than my first set. I haven't ridden with them at night yet (next weekend) but I'll certainly report back on my findings with these.

I bought both for $627 shipped from LSHD1.COM. Don't get in a hurry if you order from LSHD1.COM. Took over 2 weeks (17 days) for me to get them.
