You're supposed to check the air in the tires? I thought all Harley touring bikes have TPMS? I wondered why my tire flops from one side of the rim to the other.

Just messing with ya! I hope the dealership take good care of your needs.

So yours doesn't wobble. I'm impressed. Mine still does, and it's well maintained, and I've tried several "fixes", and my riding skills are reasonably good. What now?

I've had one of these for about 12 years. Works great on every bike I own.

Tire pressure was the very first thing I checked when I got my 2014 Limited home. It was spot on. I check tire pressure EVERY time I ride. This is taught in every MSF course because it's critical for safety on a motorcycle.

I hate to jump on the bandwagon dumping on the OP but, really? How can you not sense something wrong with the handling of your bike with 9 lbs in the front tire? You should be able to feel pressure being down a few psi. And you're sensing some elusive "wobble"????

My bike stayed at the dealer for over a month trying to fix the 'wobble' and in the end, my bike doesn't like Dunlop tires. I put on a set of avons and it was perfect. All the typical stuff was covered. It doesn't matter what year you have, the wobble exists on some bikes. My bike rides like it's on rails now, but I won't dare run another Dunlop, or Michelin for that matter.

The key word in that letter is "inferior".

my owner's manual states:

use an oil certified for diesel engines. Acceptable diesel engine oil designations include: CF-4, CG-4, CH-4 and CI-4. The preferred viscosities for the diesel engine oils in descending order are: 20W50, 15W40 and 10W40.

Yes, that post was put up there by me. Agree different bike, so no idea what the issue might be in the later bike. However I would suggest putting the bike up on a lift and getting the rear wheel off the ground a bit. Grab it and see if you can get it to move side to side. If you can, find out where the play/movement is then how to solve it. That is how I came up with the swing arm bearing issue on the '03.

As to tire pressure, yes it is important and effects handling. I check mine before every ride. HOWEVER, I can tell you that we NEVER let a vehicle go out of the shop here without checking and adjusting tire pressure. To do that would be irresponsible! It doesn't matter if it is a Porsche or a Harley. If you have it in the shop for service, ALL fluids are checked and adjusted as needed, as is tire pressure.

2013 ultra classic, 10,000 miles. I noticed a little wobble. Put bike on jack, fall away was way too loose. Next stop at dealer, asked mechanic to check it. He did and adjusted and minor wobble disappeared. Just my experience.
