Oddly, I bought an old car to relive my youth.
I'll be 60 in January. Love the CTS-V but why not buy something you wanted and could not afford when you were 20?
Nice rides you rich old farts!! I am happy to see people having some fun. My Dad is 72 now and has a 05 Heritage, 09 Ultra, 77 stingray 350 4 speed, my old big block jetboat and some other cool. I am mildly jelous of you fine old fellows and your toys. I am just a poor old loser who who had to sell his bikes, boats and savings from long term unemployment and just yesterday got laid off again. if it were not for Dad I would be bikeless still.

I did - I've been working on it for the last 3 years. Its a bumpy, rough-riding rocket that is fun to drive on the weekends, but not as a daily...:
I've had this car for going on 20 years, and I could never afford to do it right. I've been stockpiling parts, built a 383 stroker .30 over, full sub- frame, 6 speed manual transmission, etc. This is a labor of love - it will never be worth what I put into it, time or dollar wise. I've wanted one ever since the 3rd gen Firebirds came out...
My back is toasted, so I went for the most comfortable seat I could find,
and the DTS came out on top for the comfort factor.
You know you are old when you buy a vehicle according to the comfort of the seat
more than any other factor..
I'll be 69 in 2 months, and I'm sort kinda starting to feel old. I'm pretty tired after one set of tennis these days, wind surfing tires me out after an hour, and I'm ready for a nap after a 400 mile bike ride. Here's my 4 wheel ride. (yeah, it has four doors lol)
