And what minor mods were done to the CTS/V? My friend has a silver one and it is one sweet ride. Supercharged? Fastest production sedan in the world IIRC.
I relive my youth with a bike I bought in my youth. A 1973 Kawasaki Z1 900 that I have owned for thirty years. Old School superbike....and adrenalin creator to this day.
Looking at my current set of vehicles, I have realized that the days of my youth are gone. When I was younger, I didn't care about comfort or luxury, just speed and looks.
When my Street Glide got totaled last month my first thought was to replace it with another one. Then I started thinking about little things like extra storage, better sound system, smoother ride, anti locks, etc. So I ended up buying the Ultra Classic Limited. Goes along with my old mans car.
(Gotta change my sig too..)
Guess I got a little time before old age sets in, it must have hit you pretty hard because that CTSV coupe isn't an old man's car, it's a middle age lady's car. At least t is to the one in my office building
Let me rephrase that...I wouldn't mind having a SG because they're the only touring bike I like the looks of. Not ever having ridden one, I can only comment on the way they look! And they look great to me.
I did sit on one on e and got a cramp in my hip because it's so much wider than my bike.
I earned all the scars, aches and pains, had all the fun that put them here now it is soft and slow rides, smooth cars, softer exhaust as I want to keep what hearing I have left for awhile.
I got old just a few years after I hit fifty, after fifty five don't much care what anyone else thinks, it is my money and my a$$ on the bike or in the car.
I am not an old man yet, not a young either. I realized one night, as I was stretching out before sex and debating about how much work it was going to be to have sex for a couple of hours, that I was not longer a young man. Also, when I caught myself checking out my daughter's friends' mothers instead of her friends.

All I did so far was to put on Corla Axle back exhaust and an Air Raid cold air intake. This winter I am taking her over to Tune Time Performance for new pulleys, injectors and a tune. Best bang for the buck - they advertise (and prove!) an additional 100 HP, so it will put me in the 650 crank HP range.
