2012 FLHTCU. 103. Rush racing true dual exhaust, SERT, K&N breather with the stock football cover, dyno'd and runs good...the a/f ratio is perfect, running just where it should, putting out 105 ft/lbs torque and 98hp...
And my mileage will run 33-37 mpg no mater how easy I run it solo or getting on it 2up with bags.
I see some of you guys getting as much as 50mpg. Am I the only one seeing this low of mpg????
Let me get this right, you do all that go fast stuff which basically means you are forcing more air and fuel through the motor to make more and more power but still expect super MPG?? Anyone who has all that and still is claiming 50 MPG I would have to say BS. The mileage you are getting is pretty normal for all that you did to it. If you expected to gain MPG which is usually around 42 MPG stock by feeding more fuel and air, you must have been dreamin.
What does "...the a/f ratio is perfect" mean? If its anything other than 14.7 in the cruise range, then technically it isn't perfect. Your AFR could be excessively enriched outside the cruise range. riding style has a lot to do with economy also.
2013 SG, stock with Rush slip-ons, about 6,600 miles on her, averaging about 42 combined, but that's probably about 85% highway. Best tank has been around 44 highway. I'm happy with that, and I fully expect a drop when I start the mods this winter.

It means that on the dyno it's as close to that as you can get it...and, as I stated, how I'm riding really doesn't have much effect. I've actually gotten better riding 2up into a head wind than riding solo in calm conditions...
