What I don't understand is people are aware of the problems with the new bikes (not directed at the OP) yet are trading in 12's and 13's to get them, and complaining about the same problems. I look at it this way, whenever a company releases a all new anything (i.e bike, car, boat) there will always be bugs in the system. just have to give them time to work them out but they will. I understand when you invest a lot of money into something you want it perfect but that rarely happens. Just my unneeded 2 cents.
well either their testing and QC is insufficient to detect the flaws or they DID know about them and sold them anyways... same issue with the coolant puking.... either way; it doesn't say much for Harley's "customer focus"
Like I said, the MOCO pushed it out the door without TNG their dealers. The MOCO launched it to quick WITHOUT doing PROPPER QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control) I do not think it was tested enough because HD was trying to react/keep up with the competitors.

I was buying an Indian Chieftain until the 2014 HD touring bikes were launched. I'm thrilled with the improvements. It's tech, I've had 4 operating systems on my phone in less than 2 years, Keep It Up MoCo! Can't wait to see theRoad Glide.
Well, you are apparently a bit different than I. When I pay hard earned money for something I expect to get a product that works as it is supposed to. Why should I "RELAX"? Why should I (and all of the others with similar problems) expect anything other than promptness with fixes?
I think you should go back to where you bought it from and tell them about your radio problems and tell them that your not willing to wait till theres a fix out and demand your money back!

I am glad that you like your SGS. I was making my comment based upon all of the threads with the limited cooland leaks and 6.5 radio issues.
I have the '14 Limited and having problems with several of the Infotainment systems, AVC not working, GPS issues, radio popping, screen fading in and out, etc. Other than that I am very happy with the bike. The cooling system is working perfectly.
With systems as complicated at these (for HD anyway) it would seem that they would have been tested and retested prior to releasing them for sale to ensure they were working properly. My dealer is frustrated that they were not adequately informed of the new systems and not provided any technical information to enable them to help customers with complaints.
It is my understanding that the MoCo is working on multiple fixes and a software update is near to be released that should alleviate a number of these problems. It doesn't matter that the MoCo may not possess the specific expertise to accomplish this, they should be pressuring their subcontractors to fix the problems. I am hopeful that will occur.
I also am of the opinion that I spent a considerable amount of money on a product, a portion of which does not work as advertised, and it should.

You need to update the software. Mine AVC and brightness work fine. I do have the crackling and the icon changes back to an arrow once restarted.
