Default When Will The MOCO Do Something??

Apparently, most all of the 2014's equipped with the 6.5 Infotainment system are experiencing problems with Auto Voice Control, Display brightness, and Navigation inadequacies. Some have stated that the MOCO is aware of this and is working on a fix.

These bikes have been out for nearly 2 months, which I think is ample time to get a fix out.

Have any of you been told when to expect the update?

The issues are hardly a big deal. I'd says the ocassional crack in the radio is the most annoying and it doesn't happen all that often. The GPS icon changing from a motorcycle to an arrow after shut off doesn't stop me from enjoying the ride.

Pretty blown out of proportion if you ask me. I'm headed for another 320 mile round trip today!

Haven't had any issues. Updated it to the latest software and kept it moving.

Dealer downloaded the latest update to mine this past Friday. Not sure of the "version" number.

Relax...its software issues that will be eventually fixed. In the software world "2 months" is barely just started... I have software programs for my business that has been in constant revision for years... :-)

Why must politics continue to be brought up in a thread regarding the infotainment system. You know there is an area strictly for politics right??

Well, you are apparently a bit different than I. When I pay hard earned money for something I expect to get a product that works as it is supposed to. Why should I "RELAX"? Why should I (and all of the others with similar problems) expect anything other than promptness with fixes?

I'll bet my bottom dollar you would be throwing a genuine hissy fit if your new car wasn't working as it should. Why should H-D be held to a different standard than auto makers.

You allude to your business software being in constant revision. That is the case with most software, but revisions are normally to make a product that is working well work even better. There is a big difference in a revision and a fix.

He's just pointing out that all you CAN DO is relax... So relax. You getting all mad and angry with folks on here ain't gonna change anything but make it so no one will want to help you with anything... Everyone understands it's a problem and many are in the same boat as you so you are not alone.

Furthermore a "fix" can take much longer to implement than a revision and Harley ain't exactly Microsoft.

Or if you want...keep throwing a Hissy if you think that helps.
