My last post was the completion of my "Winter project list". It was all the things I had decided I wanted to do over the winter season. I was completely satisfied with what I had done. while still waiting for clean roads to ride on (damn salt!) I was standing back looking at the bike. I just did not like the way the passenger pegs look. I grabbed an Allen wrench and removed them and plugged the holes with black plastic plugs. Much better! Since I ride solo 90% of the time I will leave them off until needed..............................WELL, that got me thinking about a solo seat. Looked around on line and decided I like the looks of the Mustang studded solo seat. Next thing you know there is one on the way! Pulled the stock seat off and notices the scratches caused by it on the fender. Tried rubbing them out but just cant get all of them. Another call and the Studded full fender bib is on the way also. I can`t wait until they get here!
If you think you might be an addict, that's the first step to a recovery!
Seriously, the disease affects us all to various degrees. I know of a fella that has an '03 Anniversary Road King.....that he claims he has 32K invested in it....and I don't doubt it. It is all part of the "joy of ownership"......none of us leave them stock for long.
It never stops!
Be realistic, it's just like eating or breathing!
I'm sure by the time next winter rolls around I'll have spent as much on the mods as I did on the bike!
