Couldn't figure out your post, until I figured out you got the two cams reversed! The new 2014 cams are on the right in the diagram!

They have 13 degrees of overlap! The 2013 cams on the left have -7 degrees.

I have no idea what originals are but I will say that after I put some 204s in a few weeks ago it felt like a totally different bike, in a good way. The originals might make for some good paper weights! IMO

Not even close, but they are different than the old cams.

No dyno yet, waiting on recall parts for clutch to come in and going to get dyno done at that time. I first installed the power duals, twin slash rounds, se heavy breather and sepst and reflashed and honestly from the seat of my shorts couldnt tell much difference except for sounded better. Was going to wait for winter project to installs cams, but couldnt wait. :-) After installing the cams and reflashed again the exhaust note is completely different and pulls much harder. I will post the dyno results in a few weeks.

Thanks. My SGS is supposed to be in tomorrow is why I'm interested. Will be doing a similar setup except for a D & D Fat Cat.

I believe the 255 closed the intake valve at 25 degrees after BDC. If that is true, they will build more cylinder pressure than the stock cams shown in the diagram, which closes the intake at 30 degrees after BDC.
The new cam has a couple more degrees on the intake and couple less on the Exhaust. They both have same overlap and center line.
