Ride safe, both of you.
Amen to this, well said. I keep a journal of my trips also and enjoy looking back on them now and then. Enjoy these days and never take them for granted.

I think I will start to do that now. My memory is bad now and I am young. Lots of rides left to do with my wife, and love her and every ride we do together. Keep riding and writing!

You're too old once you can't pull the bike off the jiffy stand.

I've been keeping written travel logs for 25 years. When I go back and read them, it takes me back more fully than pictures can. Every entry starts with the date, time, temp, weather and location. I do this throughout the day rather than alll at once though. I suggest everyone do it. and WRITE, don't type. It DOES make a difference.

I'd be nice to do a journal along with photos. Having the pics on a phone isn't the same but who the heck carries a camera anymore. Love reading these threads, I thought I was the only old fart here but think there may be many lurking. I dread the day when I'm too old to take the wife on the back. The Ultra is a bit heavy two-up. Yea, memory loss hits us all, I can't remember from 1-ride to the next, but I can remember torque specs, bolt sizes without looking, and everything I've ever done to the bike. What's up with that??
